This is the most often asked question about GAMIT processing error:

sh_sp3fit failed to generate a g-file, stop
Source of Error:
Those two errors occurred because:Your RINEX observation date is beyond EOP table, and
- Your RINEX observation date is beyond EOP table, and
- GAMIT (sh_update_eop to be precise) somehow failed to update EOP table to match with observation date
Solution:
Update your pole.usno and ut1.usno and pole.usno manually with following step:
a. Go to this website:
http://sopac.ucsd.edu/GAMIT.shtml
Right click – save as on the number (1), (2), and (3), save it as it is. That is pole.usno, ut1.usno and pmu.bull_a
b. Please remember, I run GAMIT/GLOBK program on windows 10. So above downloads file is located anywhere in my windows folder.
c. Go to your tables folder of GAMIT, in my case: /usr/local/gamit
Copy pole.usno, ut1.usno, and pmu.bull_a file from your download folder to this folder (/usr/local/gamit/tables) In my cases, I saved those three files in “Documents” folder, so I used following command to copy.
Do same thing for ut1.usno and pmu.bull_a
d. Go to your gg folder.
Do the same thing as in step (C).
e. Re-run your sh_gamit command, there should be no error due to this step.

Step-step yang telah dikerjakan apa saja ya? dari awal sampai dengan dapat error seperti itu
Saya hanya melakukan sh_get_orbits pak, untuk olahan data agustus 2020, yang saya lakukan hanya mengupdate 3 file diatas pak. Namun terjadi error di sh_sp3fit dan ketika dilakukan sh_gamit terjadi fatal error karna file gigsg tidak ada pak

berarti ada dua perintah yang telah di eksekusi, sh_get_orbits dan sh_gamit?

yang kedua saya mendownload manual data orbit dari website nya karena terjadi error ketika menggunakan sh_get_orbits pak, namun ketika dilakukan sh_gamit masih terjadi error yang persis seperti diatas pak. terjadi error pada proses sh_sp3fit pada data orbit sehingga gfiles tidak terbentuk pak.
saya mengolah data di bulan agustus 2020 pak hasilnya seperti ini dan ketika saya cek pengolahan data di bulan februari 2020 tidak ada kendala seperti ini pak. Hanya di bulan maret 2020 dan seterusnya yang mengalami kendala seperti ini pak apakah ini bermasalah digamit saya atau gimana ya pak?

Kalau dari pesan error yang ditampilkan, mungkin rinex yang digunakan doy nya diluar jangkauan dari nilai yang diberikan pada perintah sh_gamit
atau, data rinex yang digunakan tidak full 1 doy sehingga sistem mendeteksi tidak ada rinex di doy tersebut
Jadi untuk solusinya bagaimana ya pak, apa di ganti stasiunnya pak?
